Mobile phone is not recommended for elderlies under care whereas it is recommended for elderlies staying at the nursing home to have phones with very large buttons. Since elderlies have poor sight, it would be better if their phones have green and red colored on/off buttons.

Loud phone volumes will make it easier for the elderly to hear the phone from a distance when it rings. The volume of the loudspeaker of the phone should also be high so that the elderly can hear better what the other person is saying while talking on the phone. When buying a phone for an elderly, you should keep in mind that elderly people may frequently drop their phones or spill water and similar liquids on them.

Problems experienced while persuading and transferring guests to Nursing Homes and Elderly Care Centers:

When relatives of prospective guests visit the facility and decide on having their elderlies settle in the facility, too many problems are experienced when announcing the news to the prospective guests and transferring them to the facilities.

After relatives of the elderly decide on settling their elderly relative in Asude Nursing Home and Elderly Care Center, a Social Worker of ours pays a visit to our elderly guest in their home and determine the psychological condition of, and the care needed by, the elderly. Our Social Worker makes sure that the prospective guests with neurological disorders peacefully let go of their obsession with belongings, money or house and transfer them to the facility comfortably and professionally.

The guests transferred to the facility are welcomed warmly by a team to eliminate any of their prejudices and allow them to quickly adapt to the facility.

Nutrition

The meals in our facilities are served warm and prepared in our own kitchen 1 month in advance based on the menu prepared under control of doctors, taking into account the diseases and nutrition system of our guests. Milk and dairy products and eggs are organically produced in our own farm all-year-round, and the vegetables we need are also grown in our own farm in the summer.

Our kitchens do not have doors, are always open and serve warm food 24/7.
